A Brief History of Our Hospital

We are proud of our over 30 year history of caring for the families in our community. The original Chambers Creek Veterinary Hospital was built and opened in 1971 by Dr. Max W. Flockerzie. Dr. Peter Yantorni joined the hospital as an associate veterinarian in 1973 and eventually became co-owner of the hospital. Dr. Max retired from practice in 1996 and Dr. Pete assumed ownership of the hospital.

In May 2001, we moved into our new state-of-the-art hospital at its current location on Bridgeport Way, just three blocks north of the old building. Our hospital has grown from two doctors and three staff members to six doctors with over thirty support staff members.

Over the years we have added new faces as well as the latest advances in hospital facilities and equipment, but our commitment to providing both high-quality medicine and professional, compassionate service remains our priority!
